Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have a Omnipcx switch with some dect basestations. It works well with the Mobile 100 handsets but am having problems with new GAP compatible dect handsets. Does anyone know which dect gap compatible phones work well with this system? The only one I have found is the BT Diverse 4010 handset so far. Thanks. | ||||||||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi, what kind of problems do you have with other dect handsets? before you sign in a new non-alcatel handset, you have to set its "operation mode" to advanced mode. you can find this button in the gap registration window. if you sign it in in basic mode. then there may occure some problems. espacially using the features in the system like transferring a call. you could try this. but if you still have problems, just ask :wink: . regards | ||||||||

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Hello. On our 4400, we're using Alcatel DECT 4074 and, lately, Siemens SL1 colour. SL1 are registered as GAP sets in 4400. Sometimes, they are not receiving some or all calls, and in system they appear "busy" even if they are not. Usually the ordinary switch-off-switch-on cycle helps, but sometimes I have to completely remove that number from database and re-create it and then register... Also, they cannot do the "seamless roaming", nor text messaging. I haven't seen that GAP "advanced" mode on SL1 menus at all... Could You, please, help me with this? ...by the way, we have about 250-300 of 4074 sets and about 150 SL1 sets in operation. Thanks. | ||||||||
