Hi,

here is the way to sign in a new handset, dont matter if alcatel or non-alcatel. its the same way.

1. create new "DECT/PWT-Set" in "Subscribers/Basestations List"
2. then open the "GAP Reg." in same list
you will see your created subscriber in the upper left
3. select the registration mode at your handset. an alcatel would show "subcription running"
4. next to the created user there will appear the ID of your handset
5. then select the created user and the id and click on the "Assign" button.
5.1 if you have a non-alcatel gap-handset, you have to select the user, then the id and then select the "Change mode" butten and choose "Advanced mode". then "Assign"

thats it.

Important for non-alcatel handsets:
- you cannot use the mailbox-system
- you can use the features only through the codes

you have to explaim your other problem with the mailbox more exactly.
which mailbox did you want to use?
the general mailbox? or the mailbox of the user?
about the license thing: for almost every special features you have to buy licenses. you can check them in "Hardware and Limits" / "SoftwareKey Features".
