Hi guys!
Not an everyday question, but does anyone know which protocols the 4400 signals use?
From what I understood it's Q.931 over HDLC. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Thanks a bunch!

Not quite sure... I'm interested in the connection between the PBX and the Remote Shelf.

There several types of Remote shelf connections
- over IP with INTIP board
- with INTOF board - over optical fiber or metal pairs. It is 8 Mbit/s proprietary protocol with HDLC on level 2.
- with RT2 board - it is HDLC on level 2 but not Q.931 on level 3.It supports specific use of 32 timeslots.
