Music-On-Hold Issues........

Don't have experience on Alcatel systems but I have big problem on them.

I am currently trying to join two omniPCX Office systems together using VoIP and am getting nowhere. The Alcatel documentation always shows the setup using routers but the problem is that I have two offices connected using a wireless bridge so they are all on the same subnet. I cannot understand why you would need a router in such a situation. Is there anyone that can give some pointers or put me in the right direction??

if you are an accredited engineer, you can download the 23Mb technical manual from the alcatel partner website.

OmniPCX Manual

Did you try this website for the information you are looking for?

http://www.a4400.spb.ru/omni_pcx_4400.html

It's a russian site but most of the manuals are in english.

I now have a copy of the R4.2 System documentation (technical manual) both as CHM and as PDF's. If anyone has an FTP I could upload to I would be happy to to upload the CHM file but it is 77Mb.
