Location: Marbella Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi again Lloydiet, Thanks for this.. I wanted to let you know: 1. I will try everything that you've just said and get back to you 2. Yes, I am using the PM5 R310 13.1 Expert tool, with login of pbx....... 3. The 'members' that I add to the new Hunt group, are these only the 'subscribers' or do I need to add something else in here? 4. I'm not sure what you mean by a dial in number?

Location: Marbella Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Llodiet... I am actually in shock, but this last little bit did it! I converted the 9 digit DDI number to a 6-digit number (by removing the first 3 digits, which are the same for all our numbers anyways) within the DDI Number Modification Table. I then named a new hunt group, and then added the subscribers (members as you say) to the hunt group. Once all of that was done, I went inside to the External Lines - List of Accesses and within the Public Numbering plan, I made the new Function, Hunting Group, starting and ending with the same 6 digit DDI number, making the BASE the same as the hunt group that I just created and VOILA! It now displays BOTH the Company Name (name of hunt group) and the originating caller ID when it rings!! I have ONE more question now for this one... now that THIS is all working, (and great!!) this particular DDI number points only to two phones (the members of this hunting group). HOWEVER... what I would like, is when it is NOT answered, for it to go to the voice mail box of ONE particular subscriber (not the general mailbox) would you know how to define this? Re: dial in, my boss informs me that we have that disabled???

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I think you will have a problem implementing this on your own. But it works like this. 1. Create a virtual subscriber (example 250) 2. In programming divert this subscriber immediately to the group. 3. In dynamic routing for this subscriber, set the timer for routing to the VM group. 4. You may also have to set the dynamic routing for the group to route to the VM group as well 5. You will have to create a VMU key (with 250) on the phone you wish to alert for messages. 6. In the public numbering plan send the DDI number to the VIrtual Subscriber (function = subscriber). All this will be wrong if your system does not suport 'Remote VM administration'. If you do not have this you will have to use a spare Analogue subscriber instaed of a virtual subscriber, so that you can set the VM password and VM Message. Good Luck

Location: Marbella Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi again Lloydiet! I have managed to do all of this except from the "divert" (which I now realise is of paramount importance) I have just posted a new thread with a problem as I cannot set the "diversion" using PM5. As this is a virtual subscriber, I can't see any other means (e.g. via setting the diversion from the phone itself) of doing this? Also, I assume that a mailbox (and associated VM license) would need to be allocated to 250?

Location: Marbella Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Fixed Subscriber Errror - Voice Mail Still not working Hello again! OK.. I am ALMOST there!!! I think I have done everything, but it still doesn't seem to be working. It either rings-out (when I toggle some settings) or it goes to the company-wide message. Please note / confirm the following things I have done, my questions are in bold: 1. Create a virtual subscriber (example 250) I made this virtual subscriber, which is now listed as a Virtual Terminal, and gave it a name 2. In programming divert this subscriber immediately to the group. I went into the Details, then on the "Diversion" button and set the following: Div. Type: Immediate Service: Telephone Rarget Type: Hunt.Grp. Target Number: 501 (This hunting group consists of the 3 subscribers that can answer the phone) (Is it correct that I have entered this hunting group here?) 3. In dynamic routing for this subscriber, set the timer for routing to the VM group. OK.. in the Dynamic Routing for subscriber 250, I have set the following: VMU as Auto. Attendant (lev. 1) - NOT CHECKED External Calls Routing on busy - CHECKED Level 1 Use Timer - CHECKED Destination No - 500 (this is our standard Voice mail Hunt Group) Level 2 Use Timer - CHECKED Routing to Gen. Level - CHECKD Gen. Bell to Gen. Level - NOT CHECKED Diversion Apply - CHECKED (Are these settings correct??) 4. You may also have to set the dynamic routing for the group to route to the VM group as well I tried with this set and not set and still no joy (I had been setting it to 500 - our general VM hunting group. Is this correct? 5. You will have to create a VMU key (with 250) on the phone you wish to alert for messages. That was no problem, and pressing the button gets me into the voice mail box no problem. 6. In the public numbering plan send the DDI number to the VIrtual Subscriber (function = subscriber). No problem again, this is set. Additional Notes I figured that it wouldn't work without the virtual subscriber's mailbox being set up, so I entered names and message for the virtual subscriber and set a password. How do I check if my system supports "Remote VM Administration"? I am fairly certain it does, as I have access from my terminal to check another person's voice mail, but I can't see the setting anywhere within PM5?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The Hunt group settings look correct. You may need to set Dynamic Routing on HG 501 to go to the VM group (500). If you were able to set the name, greeting and password for VM box 250 from a phone the you will have remote VM admin. If it is going to the General Mailbox, I suspect that the VM box 250 is not set up correctly (password). Try divert 250 to VM and see what happens when you call it internally. Make sure 250 has some General resource keys.

Location: Marbella Rep Power: 0 ![]() | OK.. that's terrific. Guess what? Yet another problem! 1. I thought I had set up the name, greeting and password for 250, but instead, I had done it for the terminal that I was using to set it up. 2. When I call 250 internally, it rings out 3. When within the Subscriber details of 250, and I click on "Mailbox", it tells me that "Subscriber 250 has no mailbox, do I want to create it" and I choose "Yes", it gives me a new error: Online Save ERROR: VMU Mailbox creation - Item 096 So with that said, you're entirely correct. There is a problem with the VM box 250. What I am concerned about now is perhaps I have not made the Virtual Terminal correctly? I simply went to the Subscribers/Basestations List and pressed the "ADD" button, then I chose "Virtual Terminal". - The options for either Media or Nomadic are not available to me. - The number of devices is left set to 1 - The No. is what I had set to 250 - Tha Name was allocated as Test Then I pressed "OK". Have I done this right?
