Unhappy Can't connect to PBX with Alcatel OmniPCX

Hi everyone there!

I need some help.
I just installed Alcatel OmniPCX PM5 R310 13.1
When I try to connect to Alcaltel PBX, I receive the following message.

"Sending file c:\progra~1\pm5\r310_13.1\temp\0\PM5request_0000 to PBX failed"

Thanks in advance for assistance.

Regards,
Brian.

I assume that PM5 is on Windows XP machine?
Then access to OXO is blocked by Windows Firewall.
Configure exclusion rule for OXO address in firewall.

Hi thanks for your reply.
I have disabled windows firewall but the problem is still the same.
Any more hint?
I think I shall try on another computer.
Regards,
Brian.

Thanks

Thanks all,

I tried that on another PC and it worked fine. should be due to some other unsuspected (or phantom!) firewall on that other PC.

Can anyone tell me how to close the thread.

Regards,
Brian.
