Omnivista 4760 Hunt group voice mail

i have setup a hunt group , adding 3 extensions to be called, and set the group as sequential.

In the last number of the sequence of extensions, i have set this to forwarded immediately to a voicemail. But this extension needs to be virtual. This is where i have the problem-not sure how to do this as when i test it -it does not connect to vmail-it connects instead to our reception.

please advise

Cheers

Not sure whether this configuration will work at all but anyway.
Try to call last extension number. Your call is forwarded to VM?

By the way why you need such a configuration?

Hi

When i call the extension it does not forward to VM. The issue i have is that i need the extension to be virtual and forward to VM.
I though that it might work this way but is there an other way to do this? As long as calls -if they are not answered -go to VM when calling this hunt group then i can change the configuration

So you must forward this ext. to VM.
Go to User/Dynamic parameters and configure immediate forward to VM number.

By the way in a HG you have "Authorized Camp on Calls %" parameter. If all sets in group are busy new calls to that group will be camped on that HG. They will not go to overflow number.

Hi
That worked -i can call the ext with VM directly and it works, but when i call the hunt group number the two extensions ring but the call does not connect to the ext with VM if that call is not answered which is what should happen

What does work is if i just have the ext with VM allocated(the other two extensions removed) and i have the ext with vm as the overflow directory number. i have set the authorised camp on calls at 0%.

I must be missing something to enable the two extensions to be called -if no answer connect to ext with VM?

Looks like it is not possible to have this configuration - 2 normal sets and one forwarded to VM in one HG.
If your HG receives call only from external TG then you can manage etn forwarded to VM as routing number in entity. In this case on no reply calls will go to VM.

i got around this issue by adding in program keys **7-to toggle in and out of the group. it just requires management from the two users (loging in/logining out) to enable calls to overflow
