| Due to EU standards NEC is no longer able to support an IVS Retrofit upgrade. Now they have come back and amended some of that statement to say that they will continue to allow but are not recomending any IVS retrofits. If you upgrade to IPS you can use most if not all of your cards in a new IPS cabinet. The Series E phones can continue to be used in an IPS.
In regards to IP Phones you do not have to go that direction you can stay TDM.
