| I had to get a External US Robotic modem for my Laptop.
Had to do with internal modem. The internal modem alway tried to connect at the highest possible speed even if I tried using S37 register to force connect at 9600 or what ever baud rate i needed to use.
Using the external modem on com port 1 on my laptop, it connects at the speed I have set in procom 4.8.
