MICS 6.0:Redirect Ext Line to Int Hunt Group Good Afternoon All... I was in the middle of posting when I lost the window so this is a 2nd attempt. Situation: I need to direct a DID Telephone number to a Hunt Group. In addition, the users want to be able to differentiate the incoming Support Calls, from their other calls; so I either need have the line say SUPPORT or Have it arrive on a different Line other than their intercom Lines (Each line is set to Ring Only with 2 Appearances). I have successfully completed this in the past on an MICS 4.0 at 1 previous company, but this machine I swear was programmed by a bunch of lackys and is not working correctly. In addition, I do not have a support contract on it, nor do I have a budget for the phone system this year. I have followed the manual and spent the past 3 days trying to get a DID to ring to the hunt group and have failed miserably General Info: Norstar MICS 6.0 Call Pilot 150 DID Range: 4000 - 4100 Main Phone Number (XXX) YYY-4000 1) I have setup an internal hunt group with 2 extensions and then overflow into a voice mail box. This works fine when you dial the hunt group extension from the inside. The following are my settings for the Hunt Group under System Program Hunt Group 02 (HG02) is 4487 Member DNs: Appr & Ring Line Assignment: L247:Assigned Mode: Sequential Hunt Delay: 3 If Busy: Overflow Q TimeOut: 30 Overflow: 4090 2) When I try to assign an external DID telephone number, in this case (XXX) YYY-4090 to HG02: 4487, Depending on the setting I have placed, I either a) get a busy signal b) Go into the Overflow Mailbox immediately c) No Hunt, Just Dead Air 3) The following are my setting for the Line that DID 4090 is assigned to under Line Assignment. DID Telephone Number (XXX) YYY-4090 L247: Assigned Target Line Info: a) Line Type: Public b) Rec'd #: None c) If Busy:To Prime d) Prime Set:None Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
