Finally finished this one.
Turned out more simple then expected.
Simple process of logging the CDR that is output from the switch, identifiing the extension. PC controlling has a lookup table of extensions to relays and hey presto lights are controlled.
Now I have seen the system in operation I am suprised it is not more widely used.
Only problem is the maint' of extension number to relay.
