Arrow Linux Versions: Ubuntu Review

Hey guys,
Just wondering how many of you are running a Linux machine, either at home or work.

I have used Red Hat7,9 and Mandriva, but just stumbled upon http://www.ubuntu.com/

I know the name sounds really wierd but so far this is the best Linux OS I have used. If you are a windows users everything falls right into place. Installing it was a breeze and using it has been even easier.

It has found all the hardware on my machines without problems, connects to the internet, gives me some great features, CD Burner Software, Music and DVD software, Email, Websurfing, Picture Software etc...Pretty much everything I use on a regular basis.

What makes it so great is it Snaptic Package installer, Basically it gives you a list of software you can install with just a check mark. It automatically installs them on your machine and your good to go.

It makes using Linux so much easier!

If you guys haven't tried a linux distribution I would encourage you to try this one. If you have an old PC laying around, it would be a perfect way for you to learn it/play with it.

Just download the "ISO" image, burn it to a CD using EZ CD creator or simliar so it burns it as an ISO image, then boot up your PC with it.

It installs pretty quickly and easily.

Lots of neat games on it as well.

just my .02 review.
