| This previously worked. As far as I can tell, I didn't change the password. I don't get the screen you refer to (that's the problem!). In reality, I can't even say for sure that the serial connection is established since the system doesn't really check. I'd ge the same "connection established, generating login" message even if the cable is not attached. But I don't have a reason to suspect the serial connection since it was working before and nothing has changed on that.
