| I'm confused did you say that the same cords work on digital phones and i2004 phones. Internet phones should use an 8 conductor cord like a data patch cord and digital phones like 3900 and 2616 should use a 6 conductor line cord. Perhaps I missed something in your post but they shouldn't use the same cord. Make sure that they have a straight thru 8 conductor patch cord for all IP phones. hope this helps
