i do not know much about nortel but if you want to deploy a descent call center enviroment you can use the Avaya best. There are some excellent features with this machine which will allow you to have a superb performing call center. But if you only want a box that calls and get called, i do not think there are so much differences between the avaya and nortel. In that case its more a descision of money to spend. (return on investement.)
