| Hmmmm ya mean 9000+ threads in the Nortel section didn't clue you in to the fact that that most people on this board work on Nortel systems?
Or maybe Nortel systems require more support than the others which why there are more Nortel users on here than those of other systems.
Everyone has a slightly different viewpoint on what to buy and why, personally I don't know enough about the non-Nortel products to give anyone a reason not to buy / try them or to buy Nortel over them.
For me working on a limited budget in a small network built with all Nortel equipment I can't afford to take a flying leap to Cisco, Avaya, Mitel or any of the others because we would have to train (or hire) our people on them ($) and start warehousing another inventory of parts and phones ($$$) for these systems. |
