I sent a general comment to NEC and actually received a response.

When using the Station Assignment icon. You click on the Key Data Assignment tab. This brings up a list of keys and a picture of the Dterm phone. If you right click on the key button that you want to program on the Dterm picture it will bring up a window for ringing.

Now hopefully you have good eyes and can right click on those little button pictures. When you are successful, you will see a checkbox window come up for the extra features.
