Might have to explain to most here in the states the concept of weekly Auctions thou, Jules
Been to a few the last few weeks in my area (one of the few states that do them the "PROPER" way)
picked up a couple of nice peices, and sold a few besides.....
So far my bigest take : $400 for a set of 1" tall Uncle Ben/Aunt Jemima salt and peper shakers from about 1920's. (That's $200 EACH)- These too were a give away back in the day: for (of all things) buying Flour.
These days people don't realize Uncle Ben and Aunt Jemima were "related", and Uncle Ben is known for Rice products, Aunt Jemima for Syrup and Pancake mix (an off shoot of the flour sales)

One thing that I found, but didn't bid on: Elmer and Elsie the cows merchandise....Another combo "family" that have been disassociated over the years. Elsie now associates with Milk products and Elmer the bull: GLUE.
Don't have a CLUE how that happened when they both used to sell household cleaning supplies in the '30's
