Yes, that's right. Someone routed YOU a 911 call.
Check with the CO. looks like someone goofed in the CO translations.
This happened a few years back in NYC and all Midtown 911 was routed to a Bank for a few hours. The story that I saw printed was that a Verizon tech was making a translation change at the CO, and either updated the wrong tables, or was in the wrong switch. I'm sure that this happens once in a while, but is usually caught right away. |
