Background:
In response to a customer requirement, MPLR15829 was created for X11 R25.30 and R25.40 software that changed the digits sent to Call Pilot systems for calls routed through SCCS acquired CDNs only. With this patch installed on Meridian 1, the dialled digits that route the call within the SCCS call flow are sent to the Call Pilot system rather than the originally dialled digits from the switch.
MPLR15829 is now integrated in X11 R25.40B and Succession Release 3 software.
Problem Description:
When routing calls through SCCS to a Call Pilot system on the X11 R25.40B and Succession Release 3 software, the dialled digits from within the call flow are offered to the Call Pilot system.
For example, a call is made to SCCS acquired CDN 4000 where the primary script instructs ROUTE CALL 7000. This number is the Service Directory number for Voice Messaging in Call Pilot. With the call being routed by SCCS to Call Pilot, the behaviour of X11 software prior to R25.30 was to send the originally dialled digits (4000) to the Call Pilot system for call routing.
Now that MPLR15829 is integrated in X11 R25.40B and Succession Release 3 software, it is the dialled digits used from within the SCCS call flow, ie. 7000 that are sent to the Call Pilot system.
This is not Generally Available as it has been classed as a Product Improvement patch that changes the way in which the core software of X11 R25.40B and Succession Release 3 works. However, there is no restriction on making it available to partners .....
