How could I work in this field for more than 20 years (started at 17) without knowing that this board existed?
I cut my teeth on 1A2 and I've worked on Norstar and BCM since their release (yes...even that EE 1.0 garbage). NNCSS in Alteon, BayStack, BCM 3.0, and Contivity.
I've spent the last few years completely distracted by my employer's reckless desire to sell Avaya, Cisco, NEC, and Toshiba (in addition to Nortel). I ended up well certified by all of the manufacturers; but, I'm a Nortel guy (and that company is now out of business). The employees started a new company and we're once again focused on Nortel.
I think this forum will help clear some of the clouds in my head (remnants of all the Cisco kool-aid I consumed). Heck, with the great resources on this board, I may be good for another 20 years.
