Looks like the HD hasn't been initialized or the MSC hasn't recieved its core software load. You have to load the corresponding HW profile to the BCM, i.e. if you have a NIC, then the Media Services Card, then another NIC (e.g. 2LAN config), you'd have to select the 4th option.

It's the first step you need to do when obtaining a new BCM or a new HD: tell the HD and the MSC what kind of setup you got going on. For example, in my case, I have a BCM with a WAN, a V.90 modem, the Media Services Card ans a NIC... I'd have to select profile 1 or else my cards would be screwed.
