Theoretical response: for maximum configuration you could have each superloop controlling one IPE module (I think). Option 61C has a total of 8 superloops, times 2 IPE per superloop leaves you with 16 IPE modules. If you have a one-to-one superloop-to-IPE correlation then you would have a maximum theoretical possibility of 8 IPE modules.

However, due to loops being used for Conf/TDS/PRI/DTI etc. etc. as well as slots being used for SDI cards and what-have-you, you're looking at significantly fewer IPE modules than what is "theoretically" possible. Figure out which superloops are currently available from the choices of 0,4,8,12,16,20,24 and 28, then figure out if you will run 1 or 2 IPE modules from each.
