As some of you are aware, I am located in Louisville, KY. The home of the Kentucky Derby. Saturday, May 1, was Derby Day and per our norm it rained like you would not believe. During this lightning enriched spring shower my RPE sent the following errors:

XMI001 52 0 7 XMLC
XMI002 52 0 15 XMLC
XMI008 52
XMI001 52 0 15

During the MIDs the entire card of 52 0 7 showed that it had been disabled. When I came in on Monday morning, this morning, I saw the errors and began some basic testing.

LD 32, ENLC, DISC and it gave me NPR326s. I DISC and went out to this building to see what I could see. I checked all connections, pins, unseated and reseated the card. The card flashed 3 times and I called to have it ENLC. The card was unresponsive and it again returned an NPR326 error code. DISC replaced the line card with another from stock. It self tested and this time when it was ENLC the card flashed and began to bring the ports up. Here is the kicker......

When I pulled the card to replace it, the tech at the terminal saw a code that showed 52 0 15. The card that I was pulling was 52 0 7. There was no card even installed in 15. So, why would the PBX read one slot as another? What would cause slot 7 to be seen as 15 and then be seen as 7. It seems to me that I have dealt with this very problem in the past yet, I just can't pull the answer out of it's hiding place. Thoughts, ideas, directions to look, anything would be helpful.

I feel that I might just have a signifigant signalling issue and I don't know where to go.
