Create an extension like this:

Extension: 2299
Type: 2500
Port: X
Name: Quick Message (or whatever sounds good to you)
Coverage Path 1: 11 (My coverage path 11 goes immediatly to AUDIX)

Create a subscriber in VM.
Call it Quick Message (or whatever sounds good to you)
On page 2 under PERMISSIONS
Make it - Type: auto-attendant
On page 3 (lets see if I can cut and paste this...)
SUBSCRIBER AUTOMATED ATTENDANT MENU

Allow Call Transfer? n

Length Of Time-Out On Initial Entry : 5

"e" goes on the line where your extensions are. Our extensions start with 1 and 2.

You'll need to create a greeting like. "Please dial your parties 4 digit extension and # now"

Now, the Admin has W on the phone. The boss is not available. "Please hold Mr Bush, I'll transfer you into his voice mail". Push transfer, dial 2299, put in your boss's extension #, and push transfer (or hang up if your switch is set up to do that).
This is also good when you want to get a message to someone without having to talk to them....
