| I have a new installation of a Merlin Legend 7 system, with Merlin Messaging 2.5 (I belive). Everything works... voicemail works, and call coverages to voicemail work. I have a 4-digit dialing plan setup, and my voicemail ports are 7200 thru 7205.
The problem I have, however, is that if someone leaves a message in a mailbox, the message light will not turn on for that extension. I have tested the message light (by dialing "#53 + ext number," and that works. And, if I watch our operator's DSS console while leaving a message through port 1 of the VM system, I see port 6 go off hook for about 5 seconds or so. I assume that port 6 is trying to activate the message light.
I don't think this matters, but the system has 2 voice PRI's setup to, and it is prgrammed in Hybrid/PBX mode.
This is a sort of urgent matter, since all of our employees are suppose to start using this new system tomorrow. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
