| I bought some 6416D+Ms. The headset ports don't work as they should. I'm getting the supplier to replace them. Seems like I had heard that some of these phones are made for the European market and are not totally compatible with our switches here in America. Since these units were made in France, could there be a connection?
Additional info: A headset (I use Plantronics with an HIC-1 cord) will work if you plug in the handset port.I think this is true of all 64xx and 84xx phones. Programming a headset button sorta works in that you don't have to lift the handset off hook, but then the handset does not
