Remote Service Observing

We are merging two of our offices that both have Merlin Legend 7.0 systems into one large system. Both offices have 20 voice analog trunks, and 48 extensions. We are planning to have 46 voice trunks with about 90 users (to start).

We are adding two T1 ISDN PRI circuits to replace the 20 analog lines in each office. We are also adding DIDs on that.

The phone company is supplying us a 7-digit DID on the lines. I assume that I can use the dial plan feature on the PRI curcuits to "delete" the 3-digits on the beginning of the phone numbers, and make a valid match to an internal extension number, right?

Second, I am planning on grouping all of our 46 trunks into a large group that all users make outbound calls on. I am thinking that on each station, I will just put about 3 or 4 SA buttons on the phones so they can have about 4 concurrent outbound/inbound calls. Question is... how can I get that type of solution to work? I have read up on "line pools," but I don't think that will work, because I read somewhere that there is a limit to the pool that it can only be on 64 buttons in the building, right?

If I just had SA buttons on everyone's phone, then I wouldn't be under that 64 button restriction, correct? And if I did just have SA buttons on the phones, could I setup a dial code that when a person picked up their phone and dialed "9," they would automatically get one of the 46 lines in our PRIs?

Hopefully that made sense.

Much thanks....
Andrew
