You could run a test bed using Asterisk, maybe deploy some IP phones to certain users with Asterisk, order a few analog trunks to start off to support your users.
Roll out Soft Clients to a control set of test users as well. You may find Asterisk does everything you need and eventually just migrate over to it.
Running it in tandem would be great. I don't know if you could network the two together to have 4 digit dialing between the two. Maybe someone else does. |
