| RE: what are pulsations/beats on analog phone lines ? Hey everyone, I'm working on a solution for a mass scale graduation project. I'm in a bind and hope someone can help clear up some confusion. I have two locations, california and new york where NY is the coporate center while california is the call center. I'd like to implement PBXs at both locations so they can make outgoing calls and calls to each other. I'd like to implement a VoIP solution between the two company locations, but use standard phone lines to dial outside our intranet. Is this a fesable solution? I was looking at the Nortel products so please reference those. I'm looking at the Communication Server 1000 incorporating M3904 digital telephones. Will agents from these telephones be able to dial to corporate as well as dial outside to the PSTN without any problems; will the PBX determine if it's a VoIP call or PSTN call and route it accordingly? I'm just looking for some clarification as to how this will work. Thank you everyone for the assistance. |
