Connecting 3300ICP MX controller to SX2000
Taken from Tech Handbook

Controller Cbinet Numbering

Cabinet 1 (hardcoded): internal

Cabinets 2 to 5 (hardcoded): CIM ports, from left to right

Cabinets 6 to 13 (6 to 9 for the MX and 100-user): module ports
(left to right).

From this I see the first port as Cabinet 8.
