| RE: Installing Asterisk I think you can bump up the DB on the incoming LS trunks. There is a setting there you can try, or have the local telco bump it up if they are easy to work with. I assume you have LS/Class trunks on the system since its a CX. If you have auto attendant picking up on those trunks you can just star out and get to your mailbox. If you have DID trunks then it is even easier through call rerouting, create an invalid reroute to your voicemail. Then just dedicated a number that isn't a station to the VM callin number. When they call it, it will be invalid and reroute to the main VM greeting. Hope this helps, good luck! What do you think of that CX system, we have yet to get one going. Kevin |
