Mitel IP Phones

After careful review it appears your TC 2000A DOES NOT have this capability embedded into the unit. You have no option but to use an external logging device and this is capable by obtaining an external line interface device.

If you go to eBay and search on "mitel smart dial" you will discover many 1 to 4 line units available. You will want ones with "chaining" if you have more than 4 lines. IF you have 4 or less then you should choose one that has as many or more.

With this unit you can connect a standard 25-pin to 9-pin modem cable to your PC. By configuring this unit correctly, you can have every call placed and/or received through the device printed over this rs-232 port.

You will need to run a terminal session and enable text capturing. I recommend Procomm Plus from symantec.com. With a little ingenuity you can ensure automated startup/capture/ and auto-logging of the rs-232 data stream from the Mitel Smart-1 Dialer.

I hope this helps and happy hunting.
