| OK i) Our ISDN is terminated at the HICOM - no change to setup normal incoming/outgoing trunk group. ii) I believe no matter what type of GSM device you use it will be terminated to the HICOM via some sort of trunk interface whether that is a PRI trunk interface or like we use PSTN type trunk interface. iii) We only use our GSM gateways for outgoing calls from the HICOM to mobiles, we get a special rate for our mobile fleet from the GSM carrier for calls from a fleet mobile to our DID's (HICOM). BUT the type we use can do what is called CALLBACK, where an incoming call will be terminated and the GSM gateway will call the person back. I have attached a zip file with more information on the GSM device we have used. Even if you don't use this type of GSM gateway it might give you a better understanding of how it works. |
