Hello peoples,
Wondering if you can give me a hand on where to put in the subnet mask just for this ip address after I have setup a new host for optivity.
I have created a new host called sample "my otm" with an ip address.
Ld 117
New Host my otm 5.5.49.5

Did a stat shows
Cab 0
id Host name Ip Address
8 my otm 5.5.49.5

Now that is done. From here I am lost as to where to put the gateway and the subnetmask just for this new host.
What or where else can I go to link the gateway that I have and subnetmask to this new host. Any help is appreciated... And once I have created or linked this new host to the gateway and subnet mask all that is left to do is just enable it and I should be in business is that correct? Correct me if Im wrong. :casstet:

Oh just for an FYI- the remote site that has the server running is up and running and working. Other sites are connecting to the server thru the client OTM already. All I need to do is just setup a new host in my switch and connect to it with the ip, gateway and subnetmask provided to me already.

Thanks...
