Backups are very important and can save you from downfalls like you had.

Now if you have 8700 (R14 +) series software or Higher you can backup your switch during routine diagnostics (ASYD System 1 Index 305 Bit 3) This only backs up DM/LDM/NDM (only valid when index 90 bit 1 is flagged) *****NOT ACD Data memory****** you would still need to back up your ACD Memory manually
