| Sorry English is not my first choice for a language but I am learning. The Version that I am at is 4.0.8 I believe I will have to get into the system and double check. When a regular message is in the box. They will ring both the phones and in the switch under monitor mode until the VM answers. What I mean by "Will not Ring" when the message sent from another extension is in the inbox and then you try calling the Ext. it goes right to talking and then hangs up in the switch and never makes a sound from the phone. I’ve tried this on all of my extensions. Same result. We have two analog phones in the office that use the same port. The Jacks are daisy chained. When I unplug one phone from the jack it will ring with the message in the box it will ring the phone until the VM picks up. I cannot change this configuration. If I take that "bad phone" and plug it in where the "good phone" it still rings until the VM picks up. If I remove the message from the inbox and plug both phones back to their original location the phone will ring until the VM answers. These phones when the message is in the box have a message waiting light as well. Am I not getting enough Voltage, Possibly? Is there a way in the switch to monitor voltage?
