Also, don't forget during software upgrades/installs that DNS server information can be wiped out and the system will fail to contact AMC. I often just insert OpenDNS servers in these fields no matter where I am and they always work (208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220)

Also, I was always told port 443 AND 22 had to be open for AMC to work properly, I have run into a few customers where one or both of these ports are blocked in their firewall configuration and AMC sync's fail.
