| Are you talking about a system in a LAB enviroment or a system installed on a customer premesis? Either way the same principals apply. IP address need to be an address on the network where the 3300 is installed. Gateway is the subnets default gateway out of the network, DNS is the address of the networks DNS server (many small networks use their router as the DNS so this IS sometimes the same address as the gateway). If you are using the WAN port as the gateway to the internet then you set the gateway address as the IP address you assign to the L2 switch on the 3300. Depending if external network traffic is locked down then you may need the network admin to open up port 443 (https) for the 3300 to communicate with the AMC. |
