How do I change our UCCX Ip Address?? Hi, we need to change our UCCX ip address and below are my only procedure on how to do it. I get this from Cisco. But, I would be really confident if there would be any of professionals here have experience dealing with the same issue, or idea for what part I must give more importance with regards to the effect/ impact or additional procedures that I must consider. 1. STOP Node Manager - This stops all the associated services. 2. Change ip in the n/w card. 3. Make changes to DNS entries. 4. Open Serviceability tool Change Node Manager IP. Multiple error messages and warnings would be thrown. Respond by Clicking OK and proceed. 5. Change IP in Post Install.exe on CRS Server. Multiple error messages will be shown since the Node Manager is down. Respond OK and proceed. 6. Change CAD BE, VoIP Monitor Service, and Services Config addresses in Post Install. 7. Verify proper NIC IP is selected in Post Install.exe. 8. Verify the CRS IP NIC is first in Network binding order ( Else VOIP Mon will fail to work). 9. Start Node Manager. Verify all services come up fine in Services and CRS Appadmin control center. ( Troubleshooting: If any is in disabled state (red X) enable it from serviceability tool and Reboot Node Manager to proceed) 10. Reinstall CAD Clients.( Auto update of CRS IP in CAD Clients is not supported.) If there are services that keep getting disabled after you make the change, open regedit and check HKLM\SOFTWARE\Spanlink\CAD\Site Setup for the IOR HOSTNAME key. If the value is the old IP, change it to the new one and restart Node Manager Again, Thanks for the usual support. You're all very helpful. |
