Thank you so much for trying to help me. I finally was able to do it because I found the System Mailbox and the System Security Code. I went through all the menus and it finally got to the part about entering an extension and then "would you like to delete the security code." I'm so happy. What was bothering me the most was that I found a file named NEC Dterm Series Reset Password but when I opened it was the same as NEC Dterm Series E Program Buttons. These were procedures written internally and obviously the Reset Password was overwritten with the content of the other. Anyway, I'm making sure everything I have learned here is well documented for me and anyone else who is coming after me.
