| I did use the makeboot software to create the bootable rmd (as noted in original post) and still had this issue. I used another CF that was already formated as bootable and was able to load the software. So I formatted the 2 CF RMD's I have with PDT and did the bootable rmd process. After that, the CPPM card was able to boot from both RMD's.
