Ty - Not sure about the Avaya side, but I can offer some pointers on the Meridian....
First - What is the status of your DCH and B-Channels?
Please post the following: Your ADAN and RDB
LD 22
REQ prt
TYPE adan x (Where x is the DCH associated with your T1)
Should get something like this - depending on what type of card
Quote:
ADAN PRIM DCH 0 BDCH 4 CTYP MSDL GRP 0 DNUM 12 PORT 1 DES PRIMARYDCHAN USR PRI - could be BRI DCHL 8 OTBF 32 PARM RS422 DTE DRAT 64KC CLOK EXT IFC NI2 ISDN_MCNT 300 CLID OPT0 CO_TYPE ATT SIDE USR CNEG 1 RLS ID 1 RCAP ND2 COLP PRI INTERFACE ID 009 2 010 3 011 4 091 5 082 6 083 7 T310 120 T200 3 T203 10 N200 3 N201 260 K 7 |
Second - Some notes about the Meridian and T1 interoperability ---
1. Make sure you have one side set to User and the other set to Network
2. Once the T1 Layer 1 is up and active, layer 2 will intialize.
3. When Layer 2 is active, each side will send framing info (Acknowledgements and Receiver Ready)

Some important info about the RDB...
Set ISDN = YES
Double check your TKTP (most likely should be TIE)
YOUR ICOG setting should be IAO (Incoming and Outgoing)..
If all your B-Channels are IDLE, try this..
1. Change your Maint set to TGAR 0
2. Dial the ACOD of the Route....
This should be a good starting point....
