| IMHO, I think that the conference is actually set up by the call pilot port and not "a"'s phone. the port has the ability to conference one time, which is call sender. If you think about it, when "b" hangs up, you are still connected to your CP session, ie: you can go to the next message, delete the previous, etc, without having to log back into your mailbox. The end result is the same in that |"b" cannot add any one else on.
