| setting up a 1 800 on three 2616 Your lack of answer I think stems from your lack of initial information. There are many ways in which to treat your incoming calls on that 800# in order to have it ring on 3 different 2616's but before anyone can help you a little more information would be very helpful. Are you using digital(PRI) or Analog trunking? How much traffic load is expected incoming from this 800# The #800 will point to a local number incoming into your switch or what I refer to as your local equivalent. You need to know this number. If you want incoming calls to be queued when all phones are busy then Really ACD is the only way to do this. Setting up the ACD queue with 3 members is easy. But The users will have to log in with an ID to receive calls and the personal extension will have to be moved to another key on the telephone other than 0. I find making changes to user phones the most challenging hurdle in any programming....users HATE change! Post back with your trunking method and expected traffic and people will be able to help explain how to route your calls to the ACD queue. Cheers |
