| Cory, another Canadian here. I do the voice services for a group of hospitals and do not do much on the technical side. I manage 3 networked PBXs, centalized voice mail and a 5 seat call center. My salary is in the range of $60K CDN. A one person office and am EXPECTED to be ready 24X7 for all sorts of emergencies (puts a damper on the skiing). Salaries are all over the map for various reasons - level of authority to make decisions, technical knowledge, whether you do both voice and data etc. Lots of folks in this field out looking for work so the scale is tilted in the employers favor these days. |
