On PG's list of things to do first; be sure to notify your carrier. If you have one T-1 our a full DS3, that's 28 T-1's for you newbies, call your carrier. If you dont and you do this on let's say a Friday night the Central Office will see the spans drop and they may not try to contact you till Monday morning. They will put a looping plug on thier end to clear the alarms on thier end. You will try to turn your T's back up and you will not be able to.

When you call and tell your carrier to let them know of your plan, give them a cell phone number that they can call if they have to.

Good luck.

(B.T.W. yes I did learn my lesson the hard way)
