Can not continue

I had the chance to see Asterisk in operation a couple of months ago at our Nashville Linux User Group meeting. These two guys brought in two PCs both set up as PBXs. Both connected to the Internet and BAM, dialtone. (Both were pulling dialtone from their offices' PRI via the Internet)

At the best, the quality wasn't totally there. However, it was running on a P90, so I'm sure a small hardware upgrade would have fixed that. (The speaker recommended a minimum of 400MHz)

Overall, very cool system. If I wasn't getting ready to buy a house and currently rebuilding the motor in my truck, I'd be dorking with it. Perhaps once I get moved I'll start on it.
