| Guys, I am not sure if it is mandatory to change out an SSC card if changing to Rel 5 and higher on a CS1000E, I know that Branch systems require it, but the main systems do not. I know of quite a few systems that did the upgrade and are still running SSC cards.
When you do need to upgrade is if you change the system to running CP-PM rather than CP-PIV, at this point, you need to change the SSC to MGC.
The main thing to remember is that the ISP1100 sig server needs a 512 Mb upgrade. |
