| Although they cannot put tags on certain DID#s, you can have virtual groups set up, in the DMS (and likely other vendor CO switches).
For example, if you have 100 DID #s that will share 23PRI channels for inbound calls (can be used for outbound as well), instead of "pointing" all 100 DID's to all 23 channels, you could do smoething like:
- Set up one virtual group with 90DIDs for the (not so important) people which point to 10 channels of the PRI
- Set up another virtual group with 10 DIDs for the important people, which point to another 5 or 10 channels of the PRI.
This would give the important people a much higher (or guaranteed if you want) chance of receiving incoming calls.
Bear in mind that the more you do things like this, the more inefficient the lines are, if they are not in use by the "important" group. |
